I created this to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and it’s become a personal tradition to focus my heart-shaped lens on our relationship to the natural world. And this year I want you to love bats! 🦇 These gorgeous animals have such a bad rap which is very undeserved, when in fact, they play a vital role in our eco system. They are major pollinators of the Australian bush, and ensure the health of our forests. The sad news is that Flying Foxes and Bats have come into all sorts of human-made trouble and are now listed as vulnerable to extinction. So let’s learn to co-exist in harmony and make the cuties the apple of our eyes!
